Job Summary
We are looking for a Purchase Executive with at least one year of experience in the purchase of fabrication or metal industry materials. The role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating prices, maintaining inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials. Responsibilities also include handling purchase documentation, tracking orders, and supporting cost-saving initiatives. Candidates should be under 35 years of age. The offered CTC is up to ₹25,000 per month.

Key Responsibilities

1. Purchase Operations:
• Assist in daily procurement activities related to metal and fabrication materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain and update the purchase order (PO) system for tracking orders and deliveries.
• Handle requests for purchase from various departments and ensure proper approvals are obtained.

2. Vendor Management:
• Build and maintain relationships with existing suppliers and develop new vendors as needed.
• Evaluate supplier performance, including delivery time, product quality, and pricing.
• Address any vendor-related issues, including delayed shipments or quality discrepancies.

3. Inventory Control:
• Ensure that inventory levels are adequate to meet production requirements.
• Track inventory status and coordinate with the warehouse team for incoming shipments.
• Maintain records of purchased materials, delivery schedules, and stock levels.

4. Documentation:
• Prepare and maintain accurate purchase-related documentation such as invoices, purchase orders, and delivery notes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during the purchase process.
• Maintain proper filing systems for all purchase-related documents.

5. Cost Optimization:
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction through effective sourcing and negotiation.
• Compare costs from different suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

6. Compliance & Quality:
• Ensure that all purchased metal materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to address any quality issues related to purchased goods.

7. Market Research:
• Stay updated on the latest market trends, pricing, and availability of metals and other materials.
• Research new materials and suppliers to improve purchasing efficiency.

8. Reporting:
• Generate reports related to purchase orders, supplier performance, and material costs.
• Provide regular updates to the purchase manager regarding material status and inventory levels.
